The Kingfisher is the product of many years of design and is the best solution to the problem of safely, easily, and securely storing fully-assembled fly rods in a drift boat. The rod holders are conveniently located underneath the large side decks, allowing up to four rods to be safely stored out of harm's way. Behind the rod holders are cavernous watertight hatches. The front swivel seat is mounted on top of another watertight pedestal with a front access hatch. Sawyer Counter-Balanced oars, a spare breakdown oar, a Straight Line anchor system, and drink holders are included.
The Kingfisher features our full kevlar and honeycomb bottom. The chines are further reinforced with Biaxial fiberglass, both on the inside and the outside. The exterior finish on the bottoms is 1/4" of high-density polyurethane for abrasion resistance. The interior finish is a Bristol finish with non-skid Speedliner on the floors.
